Ribbed Stitch (F&Bdc2tog)

This technique creates a post on the front and back of the row, creating a "Rib". F&Bdc2tog: (Front post and Back post, double crochet 2 together) - Do two dc, one in front and 1 in back and combine them together to form one stitch.

1. To create the front post, yo and insert the hook around the Front double crochet (Post) of previous row.​​​​

3. To create the back post, yo (so there are 3 loops on the hook), twist hook to the back side of the crochet row and insert hook around the Back Post of the previous round. (Note: you may have to hold the 3rd loop as it can come off when twisting the hook behind the back post)

2. yo, draw up a loop so only 2 loops on the hook to complete the front post.

4. yo, draw up a loop, yo, pull through all three loops on hook.

3. To create the back post, yo (so there are 3 loops on the hook), twist hook to the back side of the crochet row and insert hook around the back of double crochet of the previous round that you worked the first front post into.

2. Draw up a loop so only 2 loops on the hook to complete the front post.

4. yo, draw up a loop, yo, pull through all three loops on hook.
