Hi, I'm Katelyn
I have loved making crochet creations since my Oma taught me how to crochet when I was at school. I enjoy the challenge of making the wonderful and maybe a little weird creatures around me into cute cuddly version. I hope my designs bring you as much joy as they did me when creating them.

THE PATTERNS
My patterns were first inspired by the animals around me and growing up in the seaside town of Whakatāne in New Zealand. This meant I got to see a lot of our amazing native birds as well as sea life.
My love of math and jigsaws has gone into these patterns to try match the unique shape and characteristic of each animal.
Each patterns is laden with photos to help with each step of creation.
These patterns were aimed to be clear and understandable to any range of skill sets.

Even more amazing is some of the profit of these prints go back into protecting the amazing wildlife that inspired them.
Simone's inspiration for this collection started when she began work as a hut ranger on the great walks in Fiordland National Park.
