About Rangi:

Rangi the Ruru is part of the New Zealand Wildlife Collection. Rangi is a life-sized Ruru (Morepork) with a simplified body shape to make it easy to create while keeping his watchful expression. Rangi is a small and cleaver owl who loves gliding silently through the night. Ruru are considered to be the Watchful Guardian in Māori tradition with there common call considered to be good luck and their piercing high call a sign of bad news to come. So come make Rangi to be the cute new guardian of your home.
